Where is the Haven Mat made?

At a small, family-owned factory in Taiwan we've worked with since the beginning and visit often. We vet all manufacturers for ethical labour, safe materials and environmental standards.
What is it made of?

Non-toxic EVA foam, free from BPA, phthalates, lead and other harmful chemicals, infused with EcoPure®, an organic additive that helps it biodegrade faster in landfill.
Is EcoPure safe for babies?

Yes. It's a non-toxic organic additive blended into the foam. It releases no chemicals and doesn't change the foam's feel or safety; the biodegradation process only begins in a landfill environment.
Is the Haven Mat safe?

Yes, rigorously tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 (US) and CPSIA, and free from lead, PVC, formaldehyde, BPA, phthalates, latex and formamide. Odour-free and independently tested.
Can it be used on carpet?

Not on medium or high-pile carpet, as the uneven surface can cause tiles to shift. Use on a flat, firm surface such as hardwood, tile or low-pile carpet.
Can I buy single tiles?

Single tiles aren't sold online. If a tile has a manufacturing defect within 12 months of purchase, we'll replace it free under our warranty. Damaged a tile another way within 12 months? Email hello@toddlekind.com with a photo and we may replace it free, at our discretion.
